Monday Cardio

I'm needing to sweat a little bit. The weekend provided me with a good alternative workout in the way of framing some interior partitions as a part of my basement remodel, but it didn't get my heart rate up.  Tonight's workout will involve an indoor track (1/7th mile) and a jump rope as follows:

Warm up:

  • run two laps

Main workout for 10 reps:

  • 30 second jump rope
  • 10 burpees 
  • 1 lap jog (slow enough to get some heartrate recovery)

Cool down:

  • Two laps 
  • Stretching
  • Crash on couch to Monday night football
